https://academicus.pdtii.org/index.php/acad/article/view/65

Islamic education plays a major role in preserving the values of human life. Although humanity has made a lot of progress, especially in the digital age that is changing the order of life, Islamic religious education must remain in control of that goal. In addition, the existence of Arfificial Intelligent (AI) technology has also reduced the role of humans. Therefore, human critical thinking must be improved by using AI technology. This research aims to explore higher education in developing students' critical thinking skills through the use of artificial intelligence technology. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The main informants in this study are lecturers and students of Darullughah Wadda'wah International Islamic University. Data analysis was carried out through three categories, namely condensation, display and verification. To corroborate the findings of the research results, the researcher conducted triangulation, both data triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study show that AI technology is very effective in developing students to think critically. AI can stimulate students' critical thinking based on AI considerations. Their limitations in telling the idea of knowledge will be overcome with this AI technology. The integration of artificial intelligence in Islamic education has the potential to revolutionize the way students learn and engage in their studies. Using AI technology to personalize the learning experience, educators can meet individual needs and interests, which ultimately improves students' critical thinking skills. Following up on these findings, the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the use of AI technology must be further optimized through the design of learning plans, learning resources, and AI-based learning assessments.
Sodikin Sodikin

https://academicus.pdtii.org/index.php/acad/article/view/58

This research is motivated by the learning process in grade 4, especially the subject of Islamic Religious Education, showing that the use of conventional media alone makes learning less interesting and less fun, so innovative and creative media is needed that can attract students' attention. This research aims to develop digital-based learning media such as digital comics, to support the teaching and learning process at SDN Palandakan 1. The research method used is a research and development method using the ADDIE development model involving the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The instruments used are observation, expert validation questionnaires and student responses and documentation. The data was analyzed using quantitative analysis with a percentage formula. The results of the feasibility test from the validation of material experts are 95% (very feasible), the validation of media experts is 93% (very feasible) which means that this digital comic media is feasible to be implemented in the learning process. Meanwhile, the student response received 80% results in the very satisfactory category. The results of the study show that the use of digital comics can improve the presentation of a fun atmosphere for students in the learning process in the classroom, especially the subject of Islamic Religious Education.
Syifa Dinda SyafiraNazira FauziahAji IswantoZahra FebriannisaKheifa Azzahra AnsoriSheila Ekasalwa NAdi AbdurahmanMisbah Binasdevi

https://academicus.pdtii.org/index.php/acad/article/view/64

PBL's computational thinking-based learning model is a learning model that emphasizes contextual problem solving using the principles of computational thinking in the problem-solving process. This study aims to determine the impact of the application of the computational thinking-based learning model of PBL on the learning outcomes of students in grade IV MIN 2 Mojokerto. This study is conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning model in improving the understanding of the students in the problem-solving process. The study is a quantitative study using the One Group Pretest Postest method with samples taken from students of 4th grade A MIN 2 Mojokerto of a total of 27 students conducted on January 17, 2024. The data analysis used was the descriptive test, the paired sample T-test, and the N-Gain test. The average pretest score was 46.48, and the average posttest value was 76.03. As for the paired sample test, T-Test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) score of 0.000 < 0.05, so H was rejected and H1 accepted. Moreover, the N-Gain score was 0.3 < 0.5393 < 0.7, so it could be concluded that the PBL learning model based on computational thinking had a moderate influence on student learning outcomes, which means that the application of the problem-based learning model (PBL) based on computational thinking had a significant, but not very strong, impact on improving student learning results.
Syahrani Syahrani Agung Purwono

This study aims to explore how academic supervision can contribute to the improvement of learning, identify effective strategies in the implementation of academic supervision, and understand the challenges faced in the process. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research participants consist of school principals, academic supervisors, and teachers from SMP Terpadu Mambaul Huda Ngoro Jombang. The research findings indicate that academic supervision has a positive impact on improving the quality of learning. Effective supervision strategies include classroom observation, constructive feedback, and continuous training for teachers. However, the study also identifies several challenges such as lack of resources, high workload, and resistance from some teachers towards the supervision process. Overall, the study concludes that structured and continuous academic supervision can help improve teacher competence and student learning outcomes. The implementation of appropriate supervision strategies and support from all stakeholders are essential to overcome existing challenges and achieve the goal of improving learning quality.
Senang SenangSunardi SunardiMuhamad Wildan Farchani
