TikTok videos, as audio-visual media, can influence children's social-emotional development. This study aims to analyze the impact of the TikTok application on the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years at RA Miftahul Ulum. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included three children (1 boy and 2 girls), with the TikTok application's impact as the object of study. The findings reveal both positive and negative impacts of TikTok videos on children's social-emotional development. On the positive side, TikTok can make children feel entertained, build self-confidence, and facilitate social interactions with peers. However, the negative effects include increased tendencies to imitate inappropriate behaviors seen in TikTok videos, aggressive language, and poor time management. These findings highlight the dual influence of TikTok on children and underscore the need for parental guidance to mitigate its negative effects. This study emphasizes the importance of monitoring children's exposure to digital media to ensure balanced development.
2025-03-02T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Salis Khoiriyati, Muhammad Nur Hakim, Warniati SBEhttps://academicus.pdtii.org/index.php/acad/article/view/80Flipped Classroom: Revolusi Pengajaran dalam Meningkatkan Partisipasi Siswa2025-01-14T00:10:32+00:00M. Yusufzusuv.hamidi@gmail.com
The flipped classroom has emerged as an innovative approach to modern education, shifting the role of classrooms from teaching spaces to interactive discussion arenas. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the flipped classroom method in enhancing student participation and learning outcomes. Using a library research method, this study analyzes relevant literature from journals, books, and educational reports. The findings indicate that the flipped classroom enhances student engagement by integrating digital learning resources for pre-class activities and optimizing face-to-face sessions for in-depth discussions and collaborative problem-solving. Strategically, the implementation of this method fosters student-centered learning by encouraging self-regulated study habits and proactive participation. Teachers play a facilitative role, utilizing digital media and structured discussion formats to deepen conceptual understanding. Additionally, structured pre-class assignments, guided reflections, and technology-assisted peer learning emerge as key strategies for maximizing learning efficiency. The study also identifies challenges such as technological disparities and teacher adaptation barriers, recommending increased teacher training and equitable access to digital resources as critical steps for optimizing the model’s impact. The study concludes that the flipped classroom significantly enhances student participation and provides a structured pathway for transforming traditional pedagogies into more dynamic and interactive learning experiences.
2025-03-04T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 M. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data analyzed includes primary and secondary data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the data is tested using triangulation techniques. The results of the study revealed a number of challenges in implementing the TaRL approach, namely: (1) lack of teacher understanding of the TaRL concept and techniques, (2) a heterogeneous classroom environment with 30 students, (3) limited time, costs, and monitoring of learning implementation, (4) minimal resources such as learning devices, and (5) limited training and socialization related to learning planning and evaluation with the TaRL approach. To overcome these challenges, schools or principals need to provide support in the form of training on the TaRL learning approach for teachers, as well as provide adequate facilities, learning resources, and budget allocations that support the implementation of learning.
2025-03-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Deny Hadi Siswanto, Tarso Tarso, Siti Atwano Pisriwatihttps://academicus.pdtii.org/index.php/acad/article/view/84Tiktok App Use on Children's Mental Health: An Overview of Educational Psychology2025-02-12T06:00:44+00:00Khairunnisa Ulfadhilahkhairunnisaulfadhilah51045@gmail.comSalsabila Dwi Nurkhafifahchasalsabila12@gmail.com
This study aims to explore the impact of the use of the TikTok application on the mental health of children in RA Mubarokah through a qualitative descriptive approach. The TikTok application, as a popular social media platform, offers a variety of content that can affect children's psychological development. This research method involves in-depth interviews with parents, teachers, and children as well as observations to collect data about their interactions with the app. The results of the study show that the use of TikTok has both positive and negative impacts. On the one hand, children stated that this app provides entertainment and boosts creativity through various challenges and interesting content. However, on the other hand, there are concerns about social pressure, social comparisons, and the negative impact on children's self-esteem due to exposure to unrealistic content. In conclusion, the TikTok app can be a beneficial tool for children if used wisely. The existence of the Tiktok application in Indonesia has a positive and negative impact, namely getting domestic and foreign information quickly, but it has a negative impact, namely children can reach and even watch continuously, which results in children's growth and development not being optimal, and children do not have to socialize with the environment. Collaboration between parents, educators, and children is needed to create a healthy digital environment, so that the positive impact can be maximized and the negative impact is minimized. This research provides important insights for the development of education and psychology policies to support children's mental health in the digital era.
2025-03-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Khairunnisa Ulfadhilah, Salsabila Dwi Nurkhafifah
